Questions, comments, and everything else
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to write to us at info [at] awasqa.org, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Translation services and article submissions
Our translation services (English to Spanish) are open to all indigenous community media by our network members and beyond. Translations need to meet our editorial criteria based on Awasqa’s mission and vision, and we reserve ourselves the right to reject projects based on content or capacity. Preferably, our publications should strike a balance between struggles in defense of indigenous rights and a celebration of wins and ethnocultural revival. Original and translated work will be featured on Awasqa’s website.
Submission guidelines
You may submit any article you need translation for, or original work, at: info [at] awasqa.org.
To pitch an article for translation, please include a few paragraphs about your organization. Include the topic on the subject line and the text should appear in the text of the email or as a link to Google doc. Please do not include attachments, as they might be sent to our spam box.
Due to the etnocultural content of our articles, we do not publish automated translations; all go through a careful human review.
